This dull account of a few days in the life of a highly paid Manhattan call girl and her lover, a badly paid personal trainer, is set during the run-up to last year's presidential election. A rather uninteresting example of the small-scale films Soderbergh likes to do between more expensive and expansive movies like Erin Brockovich and Traffic, it has attracted considerable attention because the heroine is played by porn star Sasha Grey, though in fact the film features a lot of talk and very little sex.
