This oddly attractive road movie is directed in the Cassavetes manner by the always interesting actor Amalric. He plays a washed-up French impresario, a Paul Raymond-lookalike trying to make a comeback taking a troupe of ageing American burlesque strippers around wintry French ports. Highly watchable.
