Big Mood

10pm, Channel 4
Series one of Camilla Whitehill’s comedy ended with best friends Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie (Lydia West) parting ways, in part because of Maggie’s struggles with bipolar disorder. A year later, they’re reunited as bridesmaids at a friend’s wedding. Maggie is focused on her recovery from lithium poisoning and keen to prove she’s in her “stable girl era”; Eddie has a new Maggie in crystal-wielding “light worker” Whitney. What could possibly go wrong? Lucinda Everett

The Apprentice

9pm, BBC One
In form and content, this business competition feels increasingly tired. But it’s time for the final in which the last two candidates face a roomful of industry experts who will audit their business plans to near destruction. Who will win the ultimate prize of getting to spend a lot more quality time with Alan Sugar? Phil Harrison

Inside Barlinnie

9pm, BBC Two
A second dispatch from Scotland’s largest jail brings more stories of inmates, current and former, struggling to keep their heads above water. While long-term addict Bobby heads to rehab, Alan is released from HMP Barlinnie and returns to Glasgow, where he looks likely to reoffend. Jack Seale

Taskmaster

9pm, Channel 4
The new cast may be settling into their second week but, thankfully, there is no sign of them settling down. Hence a raucous hour of topless umbrella twirling (Joel Dommett), stuntman personas (Armando Iannucci) and lots of shouting about scrambled eggs. LE

The Miniature Wife

9pm, Sky Atlantic
Honey, I shrunk … er, you: episode two of the heavily allegorical dramedy sees six-inch Lindy (Elizabeth Banks) confined to a doll’s house and at the mercy of Magoo the cat and a robot vacuum. Elsewhere, there’s a flashback to happier, pre-shrinkage times with husband Les (Matthew Macfadyen). Hannah J Davies

Bergerac

9pm, U&Drama
A groom is found stabbed to death in a hotel room on his wedding day. In the first of a new series, Bergerac (Damien Molony) is drawn into a web of police corruption – while also cautiously navigating a potential new relationship with Jersey newcomer Nicola (Camilla Beeput). Can the recovering alcoholic and widower catch a break? Ali Catterall
